What is MEET?
MEET (Middle East Entrepreneur Training) is an intensive training and networking program for prominent business leaders from 16 countries and territories in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. MEET is a program of the U.S. Department of State Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) and is managed by the Rady School of Management, University of California, San Diego.

Why are the terms “MEET U.S.” and “MEET” both used?
MEET training programs previously took place only in the United States and were referred to as “MEET U.S.” but now MEET programs are being held in the MENA region.

How can I apply to MEET programs?
Check the Rady School of Management website often (www.rady.ucsd.edu) to find out if there are any scheduled MEET training programs which are accepting applications. If so, the site will include a link to the online application. Upcoming MEET programs will also be announced on the MEET alumni website.

What countries are included in the MEET program?
Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, West Bank and Gaza, and Yemen.
